Mindful sequential movement guided by deliberate breath, creating a freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. Practice includes time to center, reclined and seated warm up, standing sequences, cool down and reflection. Emphasis on core engagement and balance for strength and endurance. A focus on correct body alignment and use of yoga props for posture accessibility is an integral part of the class.
Judy Redding is a native and resident of Gettysburg. After 30 years in healthcare and higher education, Judy pursued her dream to teach yoga, earning a RYT200 hour certification in April 2020. Since then, she has taught Vinyasa Flow, Gentle and Beginner's Yoga at Down Dog Gettysburg, Adams County Arts Council and YWCA of Gettysburg and Adams.
