CPR/AED Training - Thursday, November 14, 2024 - 9-1 in Tempo Lounge
Minutes count when it comes to providing CPR when someone is in cardiac arrest. Even though we have NEAR team members that respond in an emergency, our goal as a community is to get as many people trained in CPR/AED as possible in an effort to save lives. CPR/AED has proven to be effective as a lifesaving measure if it is initiated in the early stages of cardiac arrest. The training is not difficult and has even gotten easier over the years with on focus on compressions. We hope you will consider attending this training as your efforts could save a loved one. This four hour session to be held in the Clubhouse Tempo Lounge will be instructed by Scott Fredericks who provides training for our response team members. The cost for the training is $35. If you decide to take both CPR and the First Aid Training and get certified and then elect to join a NEAR team your costs for the courses will be reimbursed. Four hours of your time could prove to be invaluable if you ever have to help a loved one. Please sign up today in the portal.
