Details for March 21, 2023 Culinary Club Meeting

This month the Culinary Club will prepare some lasagna casseroles for Lasagnalove.org. In February, we heard from Mike Earnest about his involvement with this organization. We decided to go ahead as a group to prepare some lasagna meals for needy families in our area. We will then freeze our lasagna meals so we are ready when we receive information about a family in need who is requesting a dinner. Paulette Warwick has graciously volunteered to head up the Culinary Club’s involvement with this group. If you would like to take part in our initial cooking, assembling please sign up to attend our March 21st meeting on the portal (even if you expressed interest at our February meeting). In addition, please contact Paulette as well ([email protected]) so she knows who, and how many workers will available. Once this initiative begins, we will need a steady stream of lasagna bakers, as well as people who are willing to deliver the meals to needy families in the area.
Another group will be focusing on planning for the 1st Annual Club Expo which will be held on Saturday, April 1, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in the Rock Creek Clubhouse. We need to plan for what we want to share about our club with residents, as well as potential residents who might be visiting Amblebrook that day.
