Summer Solstice Community Celebration
Saturday, June 20 • Starting at 5:30 PM
The Culinary Club invites you to join us in celebrating the longest day of the year with great food, music, and community!
We’ll be serving up Kennie’s Market’s famous fried chicken, and we invite each guest to bring a dish to share in the feast.
Let us know what you’ll bring here:

Festivities will take place in the Community Hall, with hopes the weather will allow us to dine outdoors on the patio by the great lawn and soak in the summer evening.
Our solstice celebration will feature:
• Live music by Generations — our own
Jeff Colosimo
leads this talented local group
• Two workshops to celebrate the summer solstice – if interested please bring $5 cash to cover materials for each
- Mini Vase with Fresh Flowers - led by Judy Widerman, retired florist and resident
- Pressed Flower Votive Candle Holder - guided by Donna Novak, Creative Club President
• Iced Tea Bar — sample unique brews from neighbors or BYOB if you’d like more than a glass of iced tea.
• “Cosmic Walk” experience —
John Fair
, resident, will lead a reflective journey through the story of our evolving universe to celebrate the summer solstice
• Bonfires at sunset — gather ‘round as we watch the sun slip below the horizon
There is no charge and this event is open to the entire community, but reservations are required so we can prepare accordingly.
Please RSVP on the portal by June 14 and let us know what you’ll contribute on this meal train link:

Come celebrate the light, the warmth, and our wonderful community — we can’t wait to see you there!
